End of trial - solution
(allow 90 minutes)
In the initial consultation, an examination of your ears and auditory canals is conducted
and aural medical history noted. A full hearing assessment (Pressure test middle ear,
hearing test and speech test) is then carried out. Once the assessment is complete we will
explain the results & discuss the various different options available to you; whether or not
hearing aids are necessary and the likely benefit to you, or other courses of action
available, such as further investigations by your GP or other hearing health professional.
Initial Consultation
If you do not wish to try a hearing aid at this time or you would like to
consider the options in the comfort of your own home you are encouraged to
do so.
Any medical reports or referrals are forwarded to the relevant people within
two days of your initial consultation. Your notes are kept on file for future
reference. Should you decide you would like to try a hearing aid at a later
date we can pick up from whichever point is necessary. If this date is
scheduled within two weeks from the initial consultation, refund of cost of
hearing assessment will be provided.
